'tis the season to be jolly, Fa La La La La La La LLama...

I started with the background: I used the Arizona stencil on a piece of Heffy Doodle white cardstock and ink blended Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire for the sky, then I used Black Soot for the mountains and for darken up the edges of the sky. I left it aside for a few minutes then I splattered it with white acrylic paint; once it was dry I used the biggest Imperial Stitched Rectangles die to cut it.

I stamped the cute Llamazing llamas and their scarfes on alcohol friendly cardstock using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored them with Copic Markers using the following colors:

LLAMAS: W00, W01, W03, W05 - E00, E02, R20
BLUE SCARFS: B00, B02, B05, B06
RED SCARFS: R20, R22, R27, R29

I made highlights with a white gel pen and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I fussy cut the scarves and made a couple of them shorter 'cause I didn't want them to look all the same, then I glued them over the llamas.

Now to the sentiment! I used the Stitched Alphabetters on white glittered foam to die cut the FA LA LA letters, but they were too big to fit the "llama" too in the card. I looked through my word dies stash and I realised that the Get Well Soon die had the ll I needed... so I ended up cutting it twice from coral cardstock and I turned the g into a and obtained the m by merging two n.

At this point, I made a hill using the biggest Imperial Stitched Rectangles die and a Slimline scenery die on a piece of white cardstock. I lightly blended some Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass at the bottom and added Lawn Fawn Chunky glitter on the hillside for some extra sparkle. I glued the hill to the base and used foam squares to put the llamas in place, then I added the sentiments on top. For the card base I used white/red striped cardstock.
