Gift box card with Little Fairy Agenda

Fairies, glitter and rainbows: what's better for a friend's birthday?!

I enjoyed so much making the 3D card with the Little Mermaidens last summer and I couldn't wait to make another one! This time, I made the card more simple on the inside but put more effort on the outside: I made it a gift box! Here it is. (You can find a video at the end of the post)

I die cut some Doodlebug Design "Sweet Spots" cardstock using the Mama Elephant Pop Up Box Card and used some yellow paper to recreate the bows. I made the lid using my Silhouette Cameo: it took me some time to get the right measures but the final result is totally worth it!! Here's a sample of the lid with measures, if you'd like to replicate it.

I also made a base, using the same cardstock, so my box would be sturdier and could stay up better.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the Little Fairy Agenda images using Memento Rich Cocoa and colored them with Copic Markers. I wanted the fairies to be on the clouds, so I die cut several using traditional vellum and Lawn Fawn Perlescent Vellum (you can't see the difference on the picture, but it's beautiful!). I made the sky using Distress Oxide Salty Ocean and I heat embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder. I then assembled all the pieces, adding the fairies in a rainbow scheme.

Here's a quick video of the card in action!
