Under the Sea 3D Card with Little Mermaiden Agenda
I had the idea for this card when I first saw the Little Mermaiden Agenda stamps, they're so cute and, being so tiny, they fit perfectly into the 3D Pop Up Card die.
Once I was dome with my background pieces, I glued every piece at its place and I started the difficult but funniest part: adding the Mermaidens! I attached the most using foam tape, but I also added some things using a small acetate strip. I'm really proud of the final result!

For this card I started by stamping the mermaidens and the rest of the gang from Mermaid Kisses using Scrapbook.com Hybrid Ink Leather (Wood 3). That's a great brown color, not too light yet not too dark and it helps giving more light to the colors. I have to say, stamping was the hardest part 'cause the Mermaid Kisses images have bolder lines and looked so different from the mermaids: I ended up stamping the mermaids one more time and that way they look almost the same. I colored everything using Copic Markers, trying to use as many colors as possible and to make every girl different from the other. So funny! I added lights with a white and silver gel pen and cut them all with coordinating dies.
I die cut the 3D Pop Up Card and started creating the sea backgrounds with Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. I did the ones on the sides directly on my card base; for the center one, I decided to use another piece of paper and attached it later: this way I could make it a bit taller and also sturdier. I made the sunshine rays with a white ink pad using the My Favorite Things stencil "Radiating Rays". Last, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on the front flip panel.
The sand was made blending Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs, then I cut my panels with the hills from the Landscape Trio dies.
Once I was dome with my background pieces, I glued every piece at its place and I started the difficult but funniest part: adding the Mermaidens! I attached the most using foam tape, but I also added some things using a small acetate strip. I'm really proud of the final result!
