Merry Christmas!!

I made this bag as a gift card holder for my sister: I had this idea a while ago and I thought about using a Mama Elephant Little Agenda stamp set, but I still had The Penguin's Waddle stamp unused and I decided to go for it ^__^ I had no time for coloring the main stamp so I used the additional penguins.


 This time I started with the base: I die cut a Mama Elephant Favor Bag XL twice and cut out one of them using the windows part of the Chelsea Framed Tags. I then blended both panels with Distress Oxide Tattered Rose and Candied Apple, then added a bit of Aged Mahogany to the bottom to darken it. Once I was done, I splattered some Gansai Tambi gold and white watercolors: the result is amazing, I totally love it!!


I stamped the penguins etc using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored them with Copic Markers using mostly red to have them match the bag. I cut them out with coordinating dies, them made a small panel for the background and colored it with Tattered Rose Oxide. I stamped the sentiment in Candied Apple, put all the images in place and glued everything together with double sided adhesive and foam tape. For adding a little sparkle, I used some sequins and gems from Lucy Abrams.
