Birthday Bash infinity shaker card

Happy 2020! Let's start with a colorful birthday card I made for my daughter.

My sweet girl turned 3 and was finally able to appreciate a birthday card. I wanted it to be colorful and cheerful and Mama Elephant's The Birthday Bash was perfect for the occasion! I was inspired by talented Thi (lemonteacrafts.com) and a card she made using the same stamp set.

First of all, I stamped the image and colored it with Copic Markers using pretty much every color I have. After I was done, I cut the image with its coordinate die and I added details with a white gel pen: that was the thing I loved most about Thi's card and, though I'm not the best on this, I'm pretty satisfied about the result.

For the background I die cut the biggest Basic Rectangle and ink blended it with Distress Oxide Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick. I added splatters of Gansai Tambi Rose and White watercolors and heat embossed the sentiment from Sweetest Greetings with silver embossing powder.
My first intention was to use a frame die to create a shaker card, but I wasn't happy about it; I remembered I once saw a project by Nicola Meek she called "Infinity Shaker Card" and I decided to give it a try: I followed her tutorial using sequins by Little Thing from Lucy's shop and this is the result!

Thanks to both Thi and Nicola for the inspiration!!

I'm using this card for entering  Simon Says Monday Challenge and
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge
