Red/Green Oh Puppy Tree Card

 Yappy Holidays! (part two)

Last Christmas I was in a hurry to make cards for my friends and I thought I could use the Mama Elephant Oh Puppy Tree stamp to speed up the process. You can find the blue/violet version of this card here.

I stamped Mama Elephant Oh Puppy Tree  using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and I colored them with Copic Markers. I cut the image with the coordinating dies and added white and gold details with gel pens.

For the background, I ink blended Distress Oxide: Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany and added splatters of white acrylic paint. I trimmed it down to a rectangle and I die cut a hillside using the hill die from the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio set (I used the negative part of the die cut to avoid the stitches). I later used foam tape to attach the hillside over the sky background.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the sentence from the Mama Elephant Oh Puppy Tree over a piece of cardstock (previously ink blended with Oxide Wild Honey) using white embossing powder. I die cut it with a Mama Elephant Sentiment Strips die and I finally added the puppy tree and the sentiment to the card.

I'm using this card for entering Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
