Heffy Doodle and WOW! Embossing Powders Collaboration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and WOW! Embossing Powders Collaboration Blog Hop!

Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies! You will find the details at the end of the post.

Here's my project: I made this card using the Heffy Doodle Trick or Treat Jumbo Sentiment die, the Let's Hang Out stamps and dies and the WOW! Embossing Powders in Sapphire Sparkle (WS336), Topaz Twinkle (WS335) and Strawberry Daiquiri (WS291).

I decided to start with the background. so I took three small pieces of Heffy Doodle heavy white cardstock, I applied some Versamark ink and I heat embossed them with WOW! Embossing Powders in Sapphire Sparkle (WS336), Topaz Twinkle (WS335) and Strawberry Daiquiri (WS291) using a different color on each piece.

When they were all ready, I roughly cut them in strips using my scissors, trying to make them in different dimensions. I made a 5,25 x 4" rectangle from heavy white cardstock and I glued the strips over it, then I die cut the biggest Heffy Doodle Imperial Stitched Rectangles die and I glued the striped panel over it.

After that, I die cut the Heffy Doodle Trick or Treat Jumbo Sentiment die three times from black cadstock and I glued them together to get a sturdy sentiment, then I applied it over the glitter stripes.

I also decided to add a little image, so I stamped the cute spider from the Heffy Doodle Let's Hang Out stamps, I colored it with V000, V12, V15 and V17 Copic markers and I die cut it using the Let's Hang Out coordinating dies. I used foam tape to add the spider and I glued the completed panel on a 5.75 x 4.5 lilac card base.

I thought I was done but, when I was taking pictures, some sequins from the Heffy Doodle Royal Mist Sparkle Mix fell over the card and they looked pretty good so I later decided to add some of them here and there. ^__^
