Ap-peach-iate Your Kindness Card - Trinity Stamps Guest Design
Thanks again for this opportunity! For my first card I used the Ap-PEACH-iation 3x4 stamp set which is utterly cute! I wanted to color the hearty peaches with "realistic" colors but I realized I do not own any peach combo on my Copic stash... so I ended up going out of my comfort zone using colored pencils. That was really fun!
I stamped the Ap-PEACH-iation 3x4 stamp set using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock (I tried using another one first, but the result was horrible) and let it dry for a bit while I chose the colors to use on my pencil stash. I used the following ones:
CASTLE ARTS COLORED PENCILS
Left peach: 74, 20, 18
Sentiments: 82, 31, 22, 17, 6, 59, 107, 106, 48, 46, 91, 93
PRISMACOLOR PREMIER COLORED PENCILS
Right peach: 997, 928, 926, 924, 935
Leaves: 1004, 989, 913, 935
Heart: 950

When I was happy with the result, I added details with a white gel pen and I trimmed the panel down. I also made a slightly bigger rectangle to use as background and I colored the edges using Prismacolor Gold pencil (number 950).
For the card base, I ink blended a piece of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral and I used a scalloped rectangle die to cut it out.

I hope you liked my project and see you soon!
Happy crafting.
