Space Yeti love card
Baby, you're the brightest star..
This card was totally inspired by the one and only Alberto Gava @loshakeratoalberto
I started stamping the bow from Mama Elephant Christmas Cookies with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, masked it and stamped the yeti from Mama Elephant Me and My Yeti. I masked the yeti arms too and used the milk bottle from Mama Elephant Gingerbread Cookies to create the jar. Once I was done with it, I used a star from Mama Elephant Little Agenda Spaceship to fill the jar.
I hand-drawn the space helmet and then I colored the images and the background using Copic Markers (see the color list at the end of the post). Once it dried, I used a bit of Distress Oxide Black Soot for darken the sky even more, then I added the stars and the highlights with a white gel pen. My pen didn't work well so I'm not really satisfied about the white details, however I really enjoyed the whole coloring part: it was really satisfying!
I added the sentiment from Mama Elephant Shooting Star using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I trimmed down the card and attached it to a white base using foam tape.
