Little Agenda Spaceship Mini Cards

Reach the stars, fly a fantasy..

I bought the Little Spaceship Agenda stamps/dies last year but I saved them for making these mini cards for two little friends who recently turned 6. I find it hard to make card for boys but these adorable astronauts are perfect for the occasion!

I stamped Mama Elephant Little Agenda Spaceship (and some party hats from The Cat's Meow) using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and I colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and added white and gold details with gel pens.

For the background, I die cut the Slimline Card Basic hill out of masking paper and masked the bottom of a white panel. Then I ink blended Distress Oxide: Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot and added splatters with Gansai Tambi Gold watercolor and white acrylic paint. Once it was dried, I trimmed the background into two similar pieces then I used the hill "stencil" upside down and made the planets using Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade then added gold and white spots here too. I didn't like the result on the second panel so I ended up making a new planet and glued them over the base.

For the sentiments I heat embossed two phrases from Mama Elephant Birthdays Messages over colored cardstock using gold embossing powder. I really couldn't succeed on taking a good picture where the sentiment where readable, however the cards look pretty cool in person and that's all that matters!

I'm using this card for entering Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and Simon Says Instagram Challenge.
