Yeti Hugs card

"Tea? Is like a hug in a mug." 💙 I could not agree more, and it gets even better when it involves a Yeti!

I was inspired for this design by a beautiful card Mariflolab made time ago.  I was sooo happy when I saw that the Yeti could fit in the cup!

I started by masking the bottom part of the Yeti and stamped it using Scrapbook.com Hybrid Ink in Fog, which is a very light grey. It was supposed to lighter than this, but I used the Yeti a couple of days ago and it still had some black ink on it :D However, the color was good and I proceed by masking and stamping the cup with the same grey ink.

At this point I started watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers (see below for the numbers). The cup was a real challenge, it had very thick borders-I probably should have stamped it with Oxide Peacock Feathers to match the marker-but somehow I managed to color it quite well. On the other side, the Yeti was super quick and easy to color!
I added the light with a white gel pen and stamped/embossed some snowflake from "City Sidewalks" that I turned into Christmas Ornaments.  The sentiment from "Puffy Holiday Greetings" was stamped in Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers.
