Mama Sunshine Card
I'm so happy to be on the Heffy Doodle Blog today for sharing with you this card I made for my mom using the Sealy Friends stamps and dies set and the Moxie Alphabet dies.
I started by stamping the critters from the Sealy Friends stamp set and the heart from the Yappy Happy Mail stamp set using Memento Rich Cocoa ink on a piece of Heffy Doodle Alcohol Marker Friendly Cardstock. I colored the seals using C0, C1, C3, C5 and R20 Copic markers and the heart using R20, R22, R24 and R29 markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen and I used the Sealy Friends dies and the Yappy Happy Mail dies to cut the images out.
For the background I ink blended a piece of Heffy Doodle white cardstock using Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet, then I used the second biggest Imperial Stitched Rectangles die to cut it out and I sprinkled some water drops to create an underwater bubble effect. When it was dry, I added the sun-rays using the Simple Sunburst stencil and white Versacolor ink pad. I also stamped the sentiment from the Oceans of Love stamp set and heat embossed it in white.
For the Mama word, I ink blended a little piece of cardstock using Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral, then I cut the letters from Moxie Alphabet dies out and I blended a bit of Candied Apple ink at the bottom.
I created a white base using the biggest Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle dies and I used glue and foam tape to finally assemble the card.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!
Happy crafting.
Claudia
