Holiday Unicorn Card

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Christmas is just around the corner so here I am with my last holidays card for 2022. I wanna dedicated it to you, crafty friends, for the love and support you gave to me and Heffy Doodle all year long!

Like usual, I started with the images: I stamped the unicorn from the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns stamp set and the present from the Koality Hugs stamp set using Memento Rich Cocoa ink on a piece of Heffy Doodle alcohol marker friendly cardstock. I colored them using R20, R22, R24, R29 and W1 Copic markers and I added details with a white and a gold gel pen; I used the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns coordinating dies to cut the critter out and I fussy cut the little present.

I used the big die from the Leafy Laurel Circle set on two different shades of green cardstock and I glued them together to create the garland. After that, I used the tiny dies from the same set on a piece of red cardstock (previously ink blended with Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral) and glitter red cardstock. I glued some of the dies together and I later added them all over the garland. I also added a few sequins from the Royal Mist (gold) and Pixie Hollow (green) Sparkle Mixes.
For giving dimension to the holly berries, I decided to cover them with the Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew and I let them dry for a few hours until they turned clear.

I prepared the card base using the biggest Imperial Stitched Rectangles die on a piece of Heffy Doodle white cardstock and I splattered it with Gansai Tambi gold watercolor.

For the sentiment, I used the Magical Heffy Cuts die on the same cardstock ink blended with Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral that I used for the flowers. I also used two different sentiments from the Holiday Sentiment Duos stamp set and I heat embossed a small part of them using white embossing powder over black cardstock.

I trimmed the little sentiments down and I was ready to finish the card! I glued all the element in place and I attached the rectangle over a red card base.

I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy 2023.
Happy holidays!
Claudia
