Rainbow Trees Christmas Card

'tis the season to be jolly...

Today I wanna share with you this holiday card: clean and simple cards are out of my comfort zone but I really like them, so I decided to challenge myself on making one for this Christmas. For this hard quest I used the tree from the Santa Village stamps and dies set, a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments Duo stamp set and the Woodgrain Texture Background die.

First of all, I stamped the tree from the Santa Village stamps multiple times on a piece of Heffy Doodle Alcohol Marker Friendly cardstock and I colored them using Copic Markers in rainbow colors. I added dots with white and gold gel pens and I cut them all out using the coordinating dies.

I used the Woodgrain Texture Background die on a piece of Heffy Doodle white cardstock and I trimmed it down into a 3.75" square, then I glued it over a 4" kraft card base.

On a strip of Heffy Doodle black cardstock, I stamped a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments Duo stamp set using Versamark ink, I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and I used a More Strips of Ease similar die to cut it. I finally add everything to the card using little pieces of Heffy Doodle 3mm Foam Tape.

Happy crafting!
Claudia
