Yay for Mama Elephant: cardmaking would not be the same without their beautiful stamps and dies! A big thank you to Angela and Krissy for asking me to join this Anniversary event, I love your products and this is really a dream come true for me!

I am totally excited to stampede along with such talented artists (check the list below) and I had so many ideas, in fact I ended up making 3 cards. I hope you'll enjoy them and be sure to check the Giveaway at the end of this long post.

#1 - GINGERBREAD COOKIES RAINBOW CARD

The first card I'm showing you is probably my favorite: you know how much I love rainbows and I couldn't help on making a cookies one! I decided to focus on the small images of the Gingerbread Cookies set and I used them to create my own patterned paper. It took me a lot of time and effort to achieve this final result: I had to do a lot of tiny masking to add hats, bows etc that were necessary for having enough color spots. I failed the first time and I made small mistakes on this one too, but I honestly was too lazy to start back again :D

I stamped everything using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored it with Copic Markers in several brown shades to simulate different type of cookies: vanilla, gingerbread, chocolate... yummy, I'm hungry now LOL Then I used all other colors to get my beloved rainbow effect and I have to admit that it turned out pretty cool, I really love this card!

The perfect addiction to this rainbow was a sentiment from Mixed Holiday Greetings. Let me say I'm totally in love with them as these uppercase/handwriting sentiment are one of the things I love most about Mama Elephant stamps. I heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock using white embossing powder and trimmed it down to the right size. I finally used the largest Basic Rectangles die for getting stitched details and a kraft base for giving the card a coordinated frame border.

#2 - LITTLE FOX AGENDA POP UP BOX CARD

The moment I saw these foxes I knew I had to make a box card. Don't you just love all these tiny cuties preparing for Christmas?! I have a special adoration for the sleepy guy: so fluffy! Anyway, I started by stamping the Little Foxes Agenda using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, I colored them with Copic Markers and cut them with coordinating dies. I did the same with many little objects from various old stamp sets (see the end of the post for the supplies list) and for the XMAS letters that I made using Whimsy Alphas dies.

I die cut two 3D Pop Up card dies and assembled the box, then I used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire for creating the background sky. For the hills I used the Landscape Trio dies and added Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter on top for sparkles and snowy effect; I also die cut several Picket Fence dies from kraft cardstock and used a white gel pen for adding the snow. The final, funnier and messier part was putting everything in place to create a Christmas scene: I may be wrong but I believe I succeeded in using all of the foxes. The more the merrier, right?!

#3 - LITTLE FOX AGENDA SLIMLINE CARD

The final one is this slimline holiday card I made using unconventional Christmas colors. I really like the way it turned out! First of all, I stamped the Little Foxes Agenda using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and I colored them with Copic Markers C00s for the winter foxes and RV90s for the objects etc. I die cut them with their coordinating dies and set them aside.

For my card base, I die cut a rectangle using the Slim Card Basics dies and ink blended the top portion using Distress Oxide Black Soot, Seedless Preserves and Victorian Velvet, then I splattered it with white acrylic paint and Gansai Tambi gold watercolor. Once it was dried, I heat embossed the gorgeous sentiment from Mixed Holiday Greetings using Ranger white embossing powder.

Then I die cut the Hillside Cover on a piece of white paper and used the Slim Card Basics rectangle die over it. I gently blended some Victorian Velvet on the bottom of the hills, adhered them to the purple panel using foam tape and I also added some Picket Fence I previously cut out of kraft paper.
I finally added the little foxes and made a scallop base using Tonic White Glitter cardstock: I wasn't able to capture it on camera but this cardstock also has some pink glitter on it and it's perfect with the Oxide colors I used on the card!
