Whimsical Winter holiday card
I'm really into a Sunset mood lately and I decided to create an unconventional Christmas card.
I desperately wanted to use the Winter Forest Cover die, which is my favorite item from the Mama Elephant September release. For now I only bought the penguins and puppy stamp sets, which would not match this wonderful background, so I searched through my stash and found this old set that I love but never used before: perfect!!
I stamped the images using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored them with Copic Marker using mostly pencils from the E family (E0s and E 30s).
For the background panel I ink blended Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold Distress Oxides and I splattered it with Gansai Tambi Watercolors in Gold and White Gold: it's very hard to see it on picture, but it really give a nice sparkle to the whole card.
I then die cut the Winter Forest Cover die four times and glued them together using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Once I was done, I put everything together using double sided adhesives and foam tape.
