Father's Day card

It's been Father's Day yesterday and today I was able to complete this card for my husband. It looks more like a Mother's Day card, but I like it anyway!

I'm sooo in love with Aida Zamora's art and, as I saw this wonderful wreath, I started to think how beautifully it would match almost every single stamp set I had *_* I'm already working on other project, I will probably make a series of cards!

Anyway, I stamped the cute bunnies from Hippity Hop and the wreath from Birdie Wreath stamp set using Distress Oxide Antique Linen (I masked some of the branches for not "overwhelming" the entire scene)  and I watercolored them with Zig Color Clean Real Brush: I used Outmeal and  Pale Pink for the bunnies and Mid Green for the leaves. I also stamped a heart but I didn't like how I colored it so I die cut the hearts/dots from Tag Aperta 2 by La Coppia Creativa and use dots as little berries for adding color and hearts for filling the void between the bunnies.

I tried many colors for the frame, but Abandoned Coral was the best one and I couldn't help on using it. I know that the result is not that masculine, but we have a 2 years old daughter so let's pretend she was the one choosing the colors LOL.. I die cut the 3D arch banner but it was too big so I cut it a bit for making it smaller. I added a bit of Flesh Color to the borders, stamped the sentiment from Cub Cuddles stamp set with Distress Oxide Candied Apple and added the two tiny heart.
