Bubble Rainbow Friendship Card

Friends do really make everything so much better!

The April theme for the Mama Elephant Discord Challenge is "Color Me Happy" which is probably the best theme for a colors&rainbows lover like me!

I did a bit of masking and stamped the Mama Elephant Flying With Friends critters with a couple of images from Ella and Friend; for the bubbles, I used pretty much every round shape I could find in my stash, mainly they are balloons from various stamp sets I listed below. 

For stamping I used Distress Antique Linen ink (for doing no line coloring) on Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor paper and I watercolored everything using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. 

I fussy cut all the images and added highlights with a white gel pen. For the background, I used Gansai Tambi watercolors for creating a simple sky/hill scene. Once it dried, I used different size of foam squares to create my rainbow of bubbles.

I heat embossed the sentiment from Ella and Friends using white embossing powder on black cardstock. However, I made a mess when I trimmed it so I tried to make a cute "bow" using another piece of cardstock: I have to admit that I like it even better this way!It's hard to see on the pictures but it makes a very pretty effect in person.
